On Sunday, May 8th 2011, Indonesia Hanson Fans Community held the annual Hanson Day Gathering. The venue was at Dhea’s house. The event was held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Here is a summary of how we partied that day :

In the first session we did a “membatik” activity. We love both Indonesia and Hanson, so we combined them to create Hanson Batik. The batik patterns were not the usual batik patterns found throughout Indonesia, we were inspired by Hanson and some of the painting they created for Shout It Out.

Here are the beautiful results!

In the second session we did some fun games.  In the first one fansons had to re-order correctly the list of tracks from Shout It Out album out of all the scrambled song titles. In this game, Isna won!

In the second game, we asked some fansons to answer random questions relating to Hanson, from their songs, family, even the total number of letters that make up Isaac, Taylor and Zac’s full name! In this game Cita won

The third game was the one everyone was waiting for, because in that game we got to meet “Hanson” themselves!

No, actually, we played a game where 3 fansons had to wear Hanson masks but with the eyes, nose and mouth missing. Other fansons, with their eyes closed and guided by a teammate, had to put the eyes, nose and mouth on the correct position. The results were hilarious! In this game, Ana, Suri and Rari as Taylor won

After that we did some photo sessions with “Hanson” (kapan lagi? ya nggak…hehehe)

Playing all those games plus “membatik” made us all hungry, so it was time to cut the cake! Cita made a beautiful cake especially for this day. Thank you Cita

With the cutting of the cake then ends another great Hanson Day Gathering. Thank you to Dhea for letting us crash your house Thank you Ririn, April and Tia for providing the games, gifts and batik. Thank you Dhea and Nessa for setting up the livestream recording so other fansons at home could watch us going crazy Thank you Ririn and Chia for all the photos.
